The Maintenance Fabrication Technician works with other Facilities Maintenance and Engineering team members to riginstall equipment designfabricate parts and specifyselect materials for fabricationinstallation. This role is critical in managing and executing parts fabrication and repairs in an efficient manner.Job DutiesAnalyzing specification charts samples and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements.Measuring and marking materials to develop a layout template to manufacture parts.Developsexecutes a plan for equipment installation and communicates impacts to operations.Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the parts rebuild modification or repairs.Participating in root cause analysis of failed parts together with other personnel on site Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of consumables parts and tools needed to fully operate workshop. Operating and servicing maintenance shop equipment keep up to date maintenance logs inspections and other information. Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defectsMaintain equipment in the Maintenance Shop.Design machine part replacements and recommend design improvements for implementation.
