How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Order, inspect, repair, and maintain Durable Medical Equipment (DME), including wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower chairs, and other mobility equipment to ensure equipment is safe and ready for patient use.
  • Partner with Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) teams to coordinate and install home safety equipment, such as grab bars, toilet seat risers, handrails, and other adaptive devices in patients'' homes.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance, including completing break/fix work orders, conducting weekly and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) inspections, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and functional healthcare environment.
  • Assist with occasional grounds maintenance and other facility support tasks, while providing excellent customer service and completing additional duties as assigned by leadership.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Boiler Operator preferred.
  • Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
