Job Responsibilities:

Maintenance Engineer - Key Responsibilities

  • Drive equipment reliability and uptime by developing, implementing, and continuously improving preventive and predictive maintenance programs to support production objectives and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, conveyor, and automated manufacturing systems to minimize downtime and resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies to identify recurring failures, implement permanent solutions, and improve equipment performance.
  • Manage equipment improvement and maintenance projects focused on increasing safety, reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency while supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support new equipment installations, launches, and engineering changes by participating in equipment commissioning, validation, acceptance testing, and production startup activities.
  • Ensure maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate maintenance records, managing SAP work orders, supporting LOTO procedures, and adhering to company, OSHA, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance, equipment reliability, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in PLCs (Siemens preferred), electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
  • Experience with SAP PM and maintenance management systems preferred.
  • Automotive and automated manufacturing experience preferred.
