My client is seeking a hands-on Building & Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operation of a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime and supporting overall production performance.

Description

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ensure reliable operation of fire and security systems
  • Respond to facility issues and minimize operational disruptions
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Identify risks and implement improvements to reduce downtime
  • Coordinate third-party service providers and contractors
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to defined standards
  • Support compliance with OSHA regulations and building codes
  • Manage inspections, permits, and required documentation
  • Prioritize maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
  • Track maintenance expenses, contracts, and service records
  • Provide regular updates to plant leadership

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or building operations
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical)
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a hands-on role

Job Offer

  • Base salary $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience level
  • 15 PTO days + company holidays
