Maintenance & Facilities Technician
Pay Rate:$19–$23/hour; Based on experience

Skills: Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools, cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols required
Our growing client is seeking a dependable Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, from facility maintenance and minor repairs to custodial duties and grounds upkeep, while contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance & Facilities Technician will include:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitation of offices, common areas, conference rooms, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain facility cleanliness
- Manage trash and recycling collection throughout the facility
- Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns
- Perform minor building repairs, including drywall patching, hardware replacement, plumbing repairs, and light maintenance
- Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and HVAC filters as needed
- Assemble, move, and repair office furniture and equipment
- Coordinate with outside contractors for larger maintenance projects
- Maintain exterior walkways, entrances, and parking areas
- Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance, including snow and ice removal
- Monitor safety equipment and respond to maintenance requests promptly
Qualifications for the role of Maintenance & Facilities Technician:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of commercial cleaning, building maintenance, or related experience
- Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and workplace safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
