Direct the electrical repair work to ensure safe efficient completion.
Supervise all maintenance to mobile and stationary equipment in assigned area.
Maintain communication equipment in operable condition.
Regular permissible checks on all electrical equipment.
Oversee the preventive maintenance program for assigned area.
See that all electrical/maintenance reports required by law or company policy are completed.
Regular inspection of equipment to ensure operating condition and removing from service for repair when required.
Order parts and supplies for repair work.
Participate in the evaluation of equipment life as to rebuilds or replacements.
Knowledgeable in mine electrical systems.
Knowledge of Hydraulics.
Able to read prints.
Certification in Low, Medium and High Voltage.
Certified Miner
Certified Mine Supervisor (preferred).
Gas testing Certification.
EMT-M (preferred)
