Maintenance Technician Location: Grand Island, NE Pay: $19-30/hour DOE Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PM
2nd Shift: 2: 30 PM 12: 00 AM
Overtime Available
1st Shift OT: Start at 5: 00 AM
2nd Shift OT: Work until 1: 00 AM
Are you mechanically inclined and experienced with industrial maintenance? We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep equipment, machinery and facilities operating safely and efficiently. This position offers a variety of hands-on work, opportunities to grow your skills and an outstanding benefits package upon hire. What You'll Do
Install, relocate and remove production equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and facility systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Work with PLCs, AC/DC motors and production equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documents
Assist with building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry and basic construction repairs
Complete maintenance documentation and inspection records
Coordinate repairs to minimize production downtime
Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout requirements
Support and train team members as needed
What We're Looking For
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience with industrial maintenance and repair
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and changing priorities when needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding and lifts
Ability to lift, carry and maneuver tools and equipment
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Must provide a basic set of personal hand tools
