Primary Responsibility: Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the warehouse with supervision. This includes battery and charger maintenance, electricity, plumbing, and carpentry.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain and repair batteries and chargers according to OSHA standards.
- Facilitate and manage the battery changing process.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery chargers.
- Clean and lubricate machinery parts.
- Maintain tools and machinery in good condition.
- Test safety equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Participation in HAZMAT responder training may be required.
Experience and Education Needed:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Mathematical and documentation skills.
- Basic computer skills (email, internet searches, data entry).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including on-call.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
