Maintenance

Cypress Assisted Living is seeking a Maintenance professional to help ensure our facilities remain safe, well-maintained, and dependable for residents and staff.

Position Summary

The Maintenance team member will perform hands-on maintenance and repair work to keep the community in excellent operating condition. This role supports a reliable day-to-day environment by addressing maintenance needs promptly, completing routine inspections, and assisting with repairs across residential and common areas.

You will take pride in quality workmanship, respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, and contribute to a clean, safe, and comfortable setting for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across the property as assigned.

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and assist with inspection processes to help identify and resolve issues early.

• Respond to work orders and prioritize tasks to maintain safety, functionality, and service reliability.

• Support basic upkeep of interior and exterior areas, including general repairs and minor renovations.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding repair status and needs.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform maintenance tasks and work safely in a facility environment.

• Demonstrated experience with general repairs and routine maintenance activities.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a practical approach to resolving issues efficiently.

• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow established protocols.

• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to complete assigned tasks to a high standard.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in facility maintenance, property maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.

• Familiarity with general building systems and common maintenance needs.

• Experience working with maintenance scheduling, work orders, or basic documentation practices.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with the maintenance lead or supervisor.
