This position is an entry-level training and development position. The Maintenance I teammate troubleshoots, repairs, and perform preventive maintenance actions on material handling equipment and other facility support systems in the distribution center environment.
This will be a late 2nd shift into overnight position. 4x10''s

What you'll do as a Warehouse Maintenance Battery Changer I:
Battery Changer is responsible for ensuring material handling equipment (MHE) remain operational by safely and efficiently replacing their batteries, maintaining battery systems, and supporting warehouse or facility operations.
Key responsibilities are:
Battery Replacement: Safely remove and install MHE batteries using proper equipment and procedures, following manufacturer guidelines.
Inspection & Maintenance: Perform routine visual inspections of batteries and charging equipment, reporting any defects or safety issues.
Battery Rotation: Monitor battery levels and manage rotation schedules to minimize downtime.
Charging Area Maintenance: Keep the battery charging area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Documentation: Accurately record battery changes and maintenance activities.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout protocols.
Miscellaneous Duties: Assist with basic warehouse maintenance tasks as needed under supervision.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:
At least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.
Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (with assistance and proper equipment).
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including (but not limited to) forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
