Ithaka Hospitality Partners, LLC, located in Auburn, Alabama, seeks a full-time, temporary Maintenance Technicians II who will be responsible for making all repairs and maintaining the hotels' facilities, including all public areas, exterior areas of the building, guestrooms, and guest corridors based on work orders, guest/supervisor requests, or observational walkthroughs. Maintenance Technicians II will also be responsible for documenting work performed on room inspection sheets and work orders and maintaining records and logbooks, performing shift engineer's checklist to assess functionality and safety of building systems and machinery including wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, and equipment, maintaining clean and orderly shops and storage areas including assisting in ordering and stock maintenance of necessary tools, parts, and materials, and adhering to safety protocols by reporting unusual findings or safety hazards, understanding and practicing hotel emergency fire procedures, and completing safety certifications and departmental safety and emergency trainings such as Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MCDS). Maintenance Technician II may need to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
Will report directly to the Chief of Engineering at Ithaka Hospitality Partners.
One (1) year of maintenance experience at a hotel, resort, or private club required.

On-the-job training is provided.
Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Shift hours may vary.
Housing is not offered.
