What you'll be doing:
Monitor coolers/freezers/ice makers/fryers/grills, to ensure they are working properly and appropriate temperatures are maintained.
Perform minor equipment
Maintain lighting (Changing bulbs, ballasts as )
Work closely with maintenance supervisor to develop more in-depth knowledge/s kills.
Schedule fire suppression, fire extinguisher, sprinkler system inspections annually
Schedule safety training for heart of house staff on annual basis
Actively works with manager to alleviate unsafe practices due by relocating equipment, outlets, etc.
Provides service to staff members in other areas as needed
Facility and Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and vehicles.
Monitor coolers, freezers, ice makers, fryers, grills, and other equipment to ensure proper operation and temperature control.
Perform minor equipment repairs and coordinate service requests when outside repairs are required.
Maintain facility lighting, including changing bulbs, ballasts, and related components as needed.
Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs as qualified.
Maintain the appearance and functionality of building grounds and exterior areas.
Safety and Compliance
Schedule and coordinate annual inspections for fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Schedule annual fire suppression and fire extinguisher safety training for Heart of House staff.
Work proactively with management to identify and correct unsafe conditions, including relocating equipment, modifying outlets, and addressing workplace hazards.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations.
Teamwork and Customer Service
Maintain a positive and professional attitude by smiling, making eye contact, and interacting respectfully with fellow team members.
Provide maintenance support and assistance to all departments as needed.
Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to expand technical knowledge and maintenance skills.
Coordinate effectively with staff, management, vendors, contractors, and local fire department personnel.
Perform additional duties and projects assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred.
Experience in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry is a plus but not required.
Ability to read and comprehend basic wiring diagrams, plumbing schematics, and repair manuals.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work cooperatively with staff, management, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Tools and Equipment
Must provide a basic set of hand tools, including wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and similar tools.
The company provides power tools and specialized equipment required for the position.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Frequently required to use hands, reach with arms, talk, hear, and smell.
Regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
Requires close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Position is mainly Monday - Friday, with potential for call-in on Saturdays or holidays
