Maintenance Technician Location: Spokane, WA Schedule: Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:45 AM – 6:45 PM) | Overtime as needed
Pay Rate: $36.25 per hour
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support industrial machinery and facility operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and focuses on preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues
Repair or fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
Assist with equipment installation and movement
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (technical/trade school preferred)
3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (equipment/machinery required)
Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical and welding experience
Ability to read technical documents and work independently or on a team
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (35 lbs repetitively)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
Comfortable working in confined spaces and varying conditions
