We're hiring a Maintenance Laborer to join our commercial landscape maintenance team in Kent, WA. This is an entry-level, hands-on role supporting daily landscape maintenance activities under the guidance of a Crew Leader. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and wants to grow in the landscape industry.
What You'll Do
- Assist with daily landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, leaf removal, and general site cleanup
- Use landscape tools and equipment safely and as trained
- Follow daily routes, work plans, and Crew Leader direction
- Work closely with crew members to maintain productivity and clean job sites
- Support loading, unloading, and care of tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and report any unsafe conditions
What We're Looking For
- Previous landscape, construction, or outdoor labor experience is helpful, but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and accept coaching and feedback
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable with attendance and performance
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Basic English communication skills required; Spanish bilingual a plus
