    Description

    Job Title: Maintenance Laborer
    Type: Contract-to-Hire
    Pay: $15.50/hr
    Start Time: 2PM

    Overview:
    We are seeking a Maintenance Laborer to support general facility maintenance and assist with basic repair tasks throughout the building. This role helps ensure equipment, work areas, and facility grounds remain safe, organized, and functional.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist maintenance technicians with basic repairs and upkeep.
    • Perform general labor tasks such as organizing materials, moving equipment, and supporting maintenance projects.
    • Complete light facility maintenance including painting, minor repairs, and fixture replacements.
    • Help with preventive maintenance tasks as directed.
    • Maintain clean and organized work areas and shop spaces.
    • Report equipment or facility issues to the maintenance team.
    • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in general labor, maintenance support, or facilities work preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safe work practices.
    • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well.
    • Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
