- Drives safety performance and ensures strict adherence to company policy.
- Monitor and track attendance, perfect attendance, and vacation days through weekly Kronos reporting. Maintain employee time and vacation entries in ADP time system.
- Develop, coordinate and assign daily maintenance repair tasks.
- Maintain records and equipment repair information as needed.
- Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping within the maintenance department.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor daily on maintenance activities and requirements.
- Ensure effective employee relations and teamwork within the maintenance department.
- Monitor team performance to ensure satisfactory completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
- Schedule and manage repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, and vendor service of equipment on a daily basis.
- Lead Maintenance Technician training syllabus process and help develop Maintenance Technicians' technical competence.
- Assist in developing adequate standard operating procedures and standard work operations.
- Communicate with the parts department admin on parts procurements and spare equipment inventory status.
- Effectively assign Maintenance Technician time to complete work orders, utilizing the JDE CMMS work order system.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance program.
- Attend operations and strategic meetings in the absence of Maintenance Supervisor.

Experience and Education:
- Must currently be at least Maintenance Technician III, have a combination of work experience and technical and industrial knowledge equivalent to a Maintenance Technician III or Maintenance Technician IV or must currently have five-or-more years of experience within a maintenance department.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills are required.
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be a motivated team player, who has strong project management skills and can work with vendors effectively.
