Requirements:

The small equipment technician at a McDonalds restaurant organization is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing restaurant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment according to company schedules.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including :

Grills

Fryers

Toasters

Refrigerators and freezers

ice machine

Beverage and McCafe equipment

HVAC systems

Exhaust Hoods and ventilation systems

Small kitchen appliances and tools

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs within skill level and company guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
