Beauvoir, a National Historic Landmark on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, is seeking reliable and skilled individuals for full-time and part-time Maintenance Technician positions. Join our team in preserving and maintaining this historic site!

Position Overview
This role involves general building and grounds maintenance for our historic property, museum buildings, and guest cottage. The ideal candidate will have a basic working knowledge across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings and facilities
Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
General handyman duties and minor repair/renovation tasks
Grounds maintenance and light equipment maintenance. (lawn equipment)
General mechanical knowledge & capabilities
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Qualifications

General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related building systems
Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred, but not required
Licenses or certifications are NOT required (though they are a plus)
Ability to work independently and safely with hand and power tools
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Schedule
