The Galt House is currently hiring a 2nd ShiftMaintenance Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor’s primary role is minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment as well as daily maintenance including electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for repairing plumbing fixtures and caulking bathtubs.
Responsible for the day-to-day skilled maintenance tasks including; electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry mechanics, and troubleshooting equipment repair.
Perform daily inspection of equipment.
Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during operation and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnostic skills, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the entire facility.
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to department manager.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or Basic understanding of the day-to-day maintenance including; electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.
Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Perform daily inspection of physical grounds and equipment.
Implement and oversee all major grounds projects.
Conduct employee evaluations to ensure maximum employee efficiency.
Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members.
Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.
Educate and train all team members in compliance with national and local laws and safety regulations.
