    Job description:
    Our client located on the west side of Cleveland is looking for a Maintenance Manager!

    This is a direct hire!

    The Goals and Challenges of this Role:
    • Work Order Management - Receive, prioritize and schedule Maintenance Work Orders and track progress
    • Develop and Maintain PM schedules, track progress, and effectiveness
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of critical spare parts
    • Coordinate with purchasing for the ordering of parts
    • Negotiate with contractors and vendors for reasonable pricing and ensuring that the scope of the work is correct
    • Communicate priorities, delays, updates, and completion of work orders to the maintenance team and the operations team
    • Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and downtime
    • Establish the correct scorecard measurables for each quarter and maintain them
    • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner
    • Support root cause analysis of safety incidents
    • Utilize the Upkeep Maintenance Management System to manage work orders and assets
    • Assist in budgeting and cost control for the maintenance team
    • Support capital projects and equipment installations

    What You Should Bring to this Role:
    • Education or practical experience in technical / engineering / manufacturing field
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills
    • Ability to effectively manage priorities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Experience and understanding in hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
