Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work culture and adhere to safety standards.
- Exhibit leadership skills: accountability, credibility, and trust.
- Ensure coaching, discipline, and recognition align with HR policy.
- Develop maintenance personnel for team strength.
- Conduct performance appraisals for staff.
- Promote CMMS system usage for team guidance.
- Enhance team growth through root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
- Improve maintenance metrics like unplanned downtime and costs.
- Champion asset availability and reliability.
- Utilize vendor services for quality and reliability improvements.
- Manage engineers to boost equipment availability.
- Support plant reliability and develop staffing plans.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- 10 years of maintenance experience.
- 3-5 years in a Supervisory role.
- Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance functions.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
