Maintenance Manager | DeWitt, MI

Salary Range: $88,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Manage departmental budget, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to support operational needs.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CMMS software implementation and optimization.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage maintenance budgets, including capital expenditure planning.
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their application to maintenance processes.
  • Certifications in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, CAMA) are highly desirable.
