A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a 24/7 production facility in Reading, PA. This leadership opportunity oversees equipment, utilities, facilities, and maintenance personnel while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient production.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Lead and coordinate maintenance activities, including equipment repair, installation, preventive maintenance, and utility systems.
-Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, work priorities, spare-parts inventory, department budgets, and maintenance expenditures.
-Plan and oversee capital projects, facility improvements, and contractor activities while coordinating with engineers and suppliers.
-Lead, train, and develop maintenance staff while supporting safety, GMP, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
-5-7 years of related maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Working knowledge of maintenance equipment, industrial utilities, building systems, installation, and construction.
-Ability to read and interpret safety, maintenance, operating, Haz-Mat, and procedural documents.
-Strong communication, organization, math, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to workplace safety.
Preferences
-Experience working in a GMP/manufacturing environment.
-Experience managing maintenance operations in a 24/7 production facility.
Schedule & Compensation
-Monday-Friday, 7:00-8:00 AM start time
-Facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; manager's schedule may vary based on plant needs.
-$100,000-$130,000 annually
-Must pass required pre-employment screening, including drug, background, and criminal checks.
