Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager with Foundry Experience to join our thriving Manufacturing Industry. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of maintenance, repair, and safety of our manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fabrication, conveyors, electrical, machines, AutoCAD, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, troubleshooting, and foundry. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery, using specialist knowledge to ensure all systems are working at their optimum.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems, and resolve issues ensuring maximum efficiency of machines.
2. Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to perform routine and preventive maintenance of all equipment, tools, and machinery.
3. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, ensuring work is completed on time and adheres to the high-quality standards.
4. Maintain all machinery to ensure it's at working standards, especially prior to critical production times.
5. Coordinate with other departments like procurement and engineering to ensure the smooth running of all machinery and equipment.
6. Utilize AutoCAD to design and implement improvements to existing systems.
7. Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiate reordering when necessary.
8. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve immediate issues, determine areas of improvement, and plan preventative maintenance tasks.
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing and managing safety programs to promote a culture of safety on the production floor.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role, specifically within a foundry or manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
4. Experience working with Disamatic Mold Machines and Induction Furnaces
5. Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical systems.
7. Ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Proven experience in managing the maintenance of various types of heavy machinery and equipment.
9. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
10. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
