Maintenance Manager

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a leading manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team.

This role will oversee maintenance personnel, equipment and facility maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, contractors, and capital projects while ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant operation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage maintenance personnel while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and prioritize maintenance work orders.
• Manage contractors and support construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment manuals, warranties, inventory, and computerized maintenance systems.
• Prepare maintenance reports, budgets, and capital plans while monitoring costs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and other facility systems.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement, risk management, and employee development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Community college education in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of mechanical/electrical trade experience or related maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or maintenance management experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance systems.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and environmental regulations; ISO/IATF experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee relations skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment:

• 24/7 availability may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in industrial and construction environments.
• Safety equipment, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses, is required.
• Travel to off-site locations may be required.
