The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading maintenance operations and personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will drive equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while supporting overall production objectives.

Description
- Lead and develop maintenance personnel across three shifts, establishing clear responsibilities and accountability.
- Oversee equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities to maximize uptime and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facility assets.
- Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities, work orders, equipment history, and performance metrics.
- Implement and maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure adherence to all safety requirements.
- Develop maintenance skill matrices and training programs to strengthen team capabilities.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical replacement components are available.
- Partner with operations teams to improve equipment performance, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Establish relationships with external service providers and contractors to support maintenance requirements.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to equipment failures, safety incidents, and product quality issues.
- Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements, upgrades, or replacement strategies.
- Maintain maintenance records, documentation, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.

Profile
A successful Maintenance Manager should have:
- 1-3+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- 7+ years of hands-on maintenance and equipment repair experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and manufacturing equipment.
- Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS software and work order management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance-related technology.
- Demonstrated ability to drive safety, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
