A bit about us:

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead and elevate maintenance operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role requires a “working manager” who is comfortable being on the floor, troubleshooting equipment, and driving performance through both technical expertise and leadership.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in food manufacturing (dairy experience highly preferred) and a proven track record of stabilizing maintenance operations, improving uptime, and building high-performing teams.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a hands-on leader, actively supporting maintenance activities on the production floor
Assess current maintenance operations and implement structured improvement plans
Develop, execute, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Drive equipment reliability and uptime improvements through data, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Lead troubleshooting efforts across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
Implement or optimize CMMS systems, ensuring accurate tracking of work orders, KPIs, and maintenance metrics
Establish discipline around PM completion, spare parts inventory, and maintenance planning
Build, coach, and develop the maintenance team while holding accountability to performance standards
Enforce best practices, challenge inefficiencies, and create a culture of continuous improvement and ownership
Collaborate with production and leadership teams to align maintenance strategies with operational goals

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing maintenance (dairy strongly preferred)
Demonstrated success in stabilizing and improving maintenance operations
Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance systems
Experience improving equipment reliability, uptime, and downtime reduction
Hands-on technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance performance tracking
Background working with high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment preferred
Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive change and enforce standards
Proven ability to develop teams and elevate performance
