Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, repair techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in facility management or related field is a plus.
- Certifications in maintenance management or related areas are preferred.
