- Install and maintain: Install new equipment and perform regular maintenance
- Repair: Diagnose and fix broken or malfunctioning equipment
- Test: Run equipment to ensure it's working properly
- Adjust: Calibrate equipment to optimal specifications
- Clean: Lubricate and clean equipment
- Maintain inventory: Order parts and keep track of supplies
- Train: Teach production workers how to perform routine maintenance
- Report: Prepare maintenance reports
- Safety: Ensure compliance with safety procedures
Skills and qualifications
- Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings
- Experience with hand and power tools
