Maintenance Mechanic I

Base Pay Rate: $25.25/hour

Schedules Available:

• Sun-Wed: 5pm-3:30am
• Wed-Sat: 5pm-3:30am

Location: Lathrop, CA

The Maintenance Mechanic I will be a highly self-motivated, customer-centric team player which possesses basic carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and janitorial experience to assist in day-to-day operations.

What Youll Do

• Work with supervision to troubleshoot basic conveyor, material handling systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems.
• Responsible for projects related to facilities as directed by the Supervisor.
• Work regularly on aerial platform lifts, booms, snorkel lifts, and powered industrial trucks (reach order picker, stand-up pallet runners, stock chaser, etc.).
• Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents.
• Responsible for keeping and maintaining tools, supplies, and a clean, organized work area.

What Youll Need

• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial maintenance or relevant certifications.
• Experience with basic carpentry including painting, drywall, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Proficient using hand & power tools and electrical testing equipment including PLC systems.
• Proficient using computer systems and CMMS software.
• Experienced safely using warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
• Will be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment including arc flash protection and safety shoes.
• Ability to regularly bend, lift, stretch, crawl, and reach; engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists; and stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to access all areas of the building by climbing ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment that can be noisy and have low lighting levels.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team and take direction.
• Must be a safety-conscious, motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Must be flexible on working hours and willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtime.
