Maintenance Mechanic - 1st and 2nd shift Available!

Job Description

Advance Services has immediate openings for Maintenance Mechanics at a local manufacturing facility in Grand Island, NE! We are seeking dependable candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install, relocate, and remove new or existing equipment as needed.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment including PLCs, A.C. and D.C. motors, production machines, engines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Utilize testing equipment along with hand and power tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, micrometers, and tape measures accurately.
  • Diagnose equipment problems, plan repairs, and communicate updates with supervisors.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following company safety procedures.
