Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving plant equipment and utility systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.
The Maintenance Mechanic will serve as a technical resource to manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams, responding to equipment issues, performing planned maintenance activities, and driving continuous improvement efforts to minimize downtime and maximize production throughput.

Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving plant equipment and utility systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.
The Maintenance Mechanic will serve as a technical resource to manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams, responding to equipment issues, performing planned maintenance activities, and driving continuous improvement efforts to minimize downtime and maximize production throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, filling, packaging, and conveying equipment.
- Respond to equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Perform welding, fabrication, piping installation, pump and motor repairs, and equipment rebuilds.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and repair documentation.
- Support production operations while ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, OSHA, USDA, and standards.
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or mechanical/electrical technician experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience working with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing or packaging equipment.

- Experience troubleshooting high-speed filling, packaging, and conveying systems.
- Experience with barcode scanners, inkjet printers, and automated production equipment.
- Experience with CMMS or computerized maintenance management systems.
- Experience performing TIG, MIG, or stainless-steel welding.
- Industrial electrical experience and knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical certification, vocational training, apprenticeship, or military maintenance experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and hands-on maintenance experience will be considered.
