Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Ashland City | Schedule: 2nd shift, 4pm to 1:30am | Payrate: $28/hour

In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot complex equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, minimize downtime, and help keep essential operations moving. What You’ll Do 

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems. 

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability. 

• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and power transmission systems. 

• Install and replace motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, chains, and other mechanical components. 

• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed. 

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. 

• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. 

• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements. 

• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to identify issues and keep operations running efficiently. 

What We’re Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing or industrial equipment. 

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, and mechanical systems. 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 

• Commitment to workplace safety and proper LOTO procedures. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. 

• Welding and fabrication experience. 

• Experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication, marine, shipbuilding, or other industrial environments. 

• Experience supporting equipment installations, upgrades, or continuous improvement projects.
