Role: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Bristol, NH
Rate: $30-34/hr on W2

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled 1st shift Equipment Mechanic to support production operations by ensuring equipment reliability and uptime. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Equipment maintenance and repairs - 2+ years
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems (including air compressors) - 1 year
• PLC or computer-controlled equipment - up to 1 year of experience
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HAZMAT procedures and safety systems
• Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined Space (or willingness to obtain)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Diagnose issues with sensors, switches, wiring, and control systems (up to 480V)
• Conduct major equipment repairs, including overhauls and rebuilds
• Maintain and service equipment such as molding machines, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and stamping equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (LOTO, OSHA) and company safety standards
• Independently identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions
