    Maintenance Mechanic

    Cambria, WI | Full-Time | Direct Hire

    $28.00 – $34.00/hr + Overtime + Full Benefits

    This Maintenance Mechanic role supports a highly automated food manufacturing facility producing canned vegetable products at scale. The plant runs a mix of steady off-season maintenance and high-intensity production during peak harvest months.

    You will be part of a hands-on maintenance team responsible for keeping production running, troubleshooting issues in real time, and supporting equipment reliability across the plant.

     

    What You Will Do

    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment on production lines
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging systems
    • Diagnose issues quickly to minimize downtime during active production
    • Support equipment rebuilds, upgrades, and installations
    • Work closely with operations to keep lines running efficiently
    • Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting when needed
    • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
    • Communicate issues, repairs, and priorities clearly with the team

     

    What You Need

    • 3+ years of Industrial maintenance, mechanical, or technical experience preferred, but not required.
    • Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
    • Good attendance, reliability, and sense of urgency
    • Comfortable working on your feet and around production equipment
    • Team-oriented with solid communication skills

    Schedule

    Off-Season (Approx. October – June):

    • Monday – Friday
    • 40-hour weeks

    Pack Season (Mid-June – Early October):

    • 12-hour shifts
    • 6 days on, 1 day off
    • Day and night shift rotation

    Overtime is significant during peak season.
