Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location:Cedar Rapids, IA
Shift: 12 hour
Pay: $28+ DOE
Advance Services is hiring an
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support a leading manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and plant utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Maintain plant utilities including water, air, steam, and cooling systems
Inspect and repair pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and production equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders in the maintenance system
Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and equipment drawings
Support root cause analysis and equipment improvements
Requirements
Industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work with motors, gearboxes, pumps, and plant utilities
Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Technical degree or training in Industrial Maintenance or Mechanical/Electrical Technology
Experience with SAP or CMMS maintenance systems
