  • 2–4+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment or completion of an approved apprenticeship/training program. 
  • Experience with high-speed processing or packaging equipment is preferred. 
  • Strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis skills.

Description:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on high-speed processing and packaging equipment. 
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems to minimize downtime. 
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules and document work orders using SAP-PM/CMMS. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings for equipment maintenance. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability. 
  • Operate forklifts, man lifts, ladders, and other maintenance equipment safely. 
  • Follow GMP, HACCP, LOTO, NFPA, and other safety and quality standards while supporting Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and support equipment reliability and production efficiency.
