About the Role
This is a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic role supporting a seasonal green bean cannery. The plant operates year-round with a defined pack season that requires longer hours and high reliability.
This role is a strong fit for mechanics who value stability, predictable schedules most of the year, and overtime during pack, and who take pride in showing up, learning, and doing the job right.
Cannery experience is helpful but not required. Work ethic, integrity, and mechanical aptitude matter most.
Schedule and Hours
Pack Season
Approx. July through September
Off-Pack Season
Approx. October through June
This schedule is emphasized clearly during interviews so there are no surprises.
Pay
Most new hires do not start at the top of the range. Raises are typically evaluated after completing a full pack season, with merit increases possible based on performance.
What You Will Work On
This is a team-based maintenance environment. Mechanics are not expected to troubleshoot everything alone.
