Maintenance Mechanic Day Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Raleigh, NC
Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 an hour DOE / Work hours will vary based on pay.
Shift: Day shift (6 AM – 6 PM, Monday–Friday; weekends and overtime as needed)

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust machinery and equipment.

• Perform changeovers and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.

• Rebuild presses and support equipment as needed.

• Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

• Document maintenance activities using the CMMS system.

• Assist with new machine setup and testing to ensure readiness and safety.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications of the Maintenance Mechanic:

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or mechanic experience.

• Technical degree or equivalent schooling/experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, or machinist background.

• Ability to read mechanical prints and troubleshoot motors and controls.

• PLC knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
