  • The Pay rate: $27.30 to $29.29 an hour
  • Monday - Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm with Mandatory OT on Friday and Saturday based on business need.

Position Summary:
Responsible for planning and coordinating daily tasks for Maintenance Dept. Activities.
Duties include: repairing and maintaining production machinery and facilities, ensuring PM tasks are completed, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control problems, requisition replacement parts as necessary and installing new and upgrading existing equipment.
Duties require excellent verbal communications skills, physical ability to work on equipment and facilities, ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to include electrical meter, welder and cutting torch, and be well versed with PLC Software, CMMS Systems, and basic MS Office Program.

Essential Job Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics required
  • Experience working with voltage up to 480 volts required
  • 5 years of industrial electrical experience required
  • Experience troubleshooting Industrial equipment breakdown required

Essential Functions:
  1. Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all production machinery. Recommend updates to Preventive Maintenance Programs for all machines based of breakdown causes to minimize downtime.
  2. Respond to and direct emergency repairs as necessary.
  3. Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on company facilities.
  4. Ensure proper maintenance and operation of heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  5. Installation and debugging of new machinery. Developing and improving existing machinery by making modifications suggested by production personnel and approved by Management.
  6. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on all production machinery.
  7. Must understand ladder logic and be able to use various PLC programming software packages for troubleshooting control problems.
  8. Install industrial electrical and control circuits for safety devices, automation upgrades, etc
  9. Requisition replacement/repair parts as necessary.
  10. Recommend items stocked for spare parts as well as determining quantities to be stocked.
  11. Recommend when the service of outside contractors is necessary.
  12. Assist outside contractors with all maintenance repairs performed on production machinery.
