One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations at their facility in Dundee, MI location.
**Pay Rate: **$42/hr - $44/hr
**Shift: **Continental
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime
Inspect machinery and identify potential maintenance concerns
Repair and replace motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other machine components
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Perform equipment setup, alignment, and installation as needed
Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
Journeyman-level hydraulic certification/training preferred
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, systems maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals
Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
Welding and fabrication experience
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment
