Maintenance Mechanic
Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm
Pay: $29.30-$32 based on experience

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Ability to interpret diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications
  • Proficiency in repairing and maintaining machinery such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Ability to repair or reproduce parts using welders and machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working specifically with bindery and press equipment
  • Welding skills and experience operating machine shop tools
  • Familiarity with automated conveyor and manufacturing systems

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in maintenance or manufacturing trades
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting, ideally with bindery or press equipment

Other Requirements:
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts and respond to emergency repairs as needed
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and work independently or as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA regulations
