Job Description
MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Location: Elgin, IL
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed.
- Diagnose equipment issues and minimize production downtime.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
- Assist with equipment installation, modification, and improvements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
