Maintenance Mechanic – Food Manufacturing

Our client, an industry leader in food manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic – Food Manufacturing to join their dedicated team. As a Maintenance Mechanic – Food Manufacturing, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic – Food Manufacturing

Location: Anacortes, WA

Pay Range:$30/hr-$40/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays as needed 
Hous:8:00-5:00pm with some overtime 

What's the Job?

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal operation
• Assist with machinery rebuilds and system revisions
• Follow electrical diagrams and operating manuals to repair equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• Good attendance and reliability
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs., with good hearing and vision (corrections okay)
• Additional experience in fabrication, welding, machining, refrigeration, electronics repair, or boiler systems is a plus
