Maintenance MechanicMozaic Senior Life is seeking a dependable, skilled, and hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to join our Facilities team. This position is responsible for maintaining our buildings, equipment, grounds, and mechanical systems while helping ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot problems independently, respond well to changing priorities, and enjoys working as part of a team.Position DetailsDepartment: Facilities Reports To: Facilities Supervisor and Director of Facility Services Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Hours: 37.5 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns.Perform preventative maintenance to help keep equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.Complete general repairs and maintenance involving buildings, equipment, machinery, fixtures, and other facility systems.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.Respond to maintenance work orders and complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within established timeframes.Perform repairs to machines, equipment, structures, and other facility components as needed.Assist with emergency situations, including fire and life-safety procedures, facility emergencies, and on-call services.Assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather, including operating snowplows, spreaders, and other snow-removal equipment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and changing conditions.Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and procedures.Ability to safely perform physical work, including lifting, climbing ladders, standing, walking, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.Why Join Mozaic Senior Life?At Mozaic Senior Life, the work you do directly contributes to the comfort, safety, and quality of life of the people who call our community home.As a member of our Facilities team, you'll play an important role in keeping our campus safe, functional, comfortable, and welcoming for residents, families, visitors, and employees.If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-run environment, we'd like to hear from you.Apply today to join the Mozaic Senior Life team.EOE
