Job Title:Maintenance Mechanic Reports to:Production ManagerGeneral Description:Perform general tasks related to upkeep of machines and facilities. Responsibilities: (100%)Wire/repair electrical equipment including PLCsExecute plumbing tasksRepair air compressors/pneumatic equipmentPerform carpentryMaintain building equipment (e.g., air conditioner, boilers, ventilating fan, forklift truck Maintain machinery (CNC Swiss & Mill-Turn Lathes, Manual Mills/Lathes, CNC Mill, and stamping, wire forming, slide and press equipment)Fabricate parts for new, existing machineryPerform & record preventive maintenance as scheduledSafetyLead Safety CommitteeOversee compliance with applicable government safety regulations, including OSHA standards Train Maintenance Apprentice Other duties as requiredMinimum Educational Qualifications:High school degree or equivalent, electrical, plumbing, mechanical knowledge5-10 years' experience in general maintenanceCertifications & Education to do electrical workOther Skills:WeldingForklift operation
