Maintenance Technician – Hammond, INPay Rate: $27.00 – $31.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience) Job SummaryInova Staffing Services is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for one of our customers in Hammond, IN. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving industrial laundry equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality work. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Inspect machines and equipment to identify malfunctions and determine corrective actions.
Dismantle machinery to access and repair defective components.
Replace worn or damaged mechanical and hydraulic parts.
Realign and adjust machine components, including spindles, clutches, and drive mechanisms.
Repair or replace damaged air and hydraulic lines.
Measure, cut, thread, and install piping as needed.
Test machinery following repairs to ensure proper operation.
Program and adjust equipment settings to maintain product quality standards.
Operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate repair parts.
Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic controls and equipment.
Safely operate welding equipment and cutting torches.
Complete maintenance work orders and related documentation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members.
