Maintenance Mechanic
Pay: $25.00+ per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to finish, with on-call responsibilities

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform general maintenance assignments using well-developed mechanical skills with minimal supervision. This role supports plant operations by repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment while ensuring safety, efficiency, and product quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and adjust various types of machines, production line equipment, and facility structures
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on plant equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and operating manuals
• Request materials needed for repairs and report items requiring replacement
• Complete required maintenance documentation
• Perform work in a manner that supports continuous production
• Report equipment or building conditions requiring maintenance
• Train and mentor junior mechanics as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following good housekeeping practices
• Follow all safety procedures and GMP standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates should have developed knowledge and hands-on experience in several of the following areas:

• Welding, cutting, and brazing
• Pipefitting, plumbing, and fabrication
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Carpentry and masonry
• Electrical systems and electronics
• Industrial refrigeration and boilers
• Mechanical installations and repairs

Additional Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot 110–220V single-phase and 3-phase wiring
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manuals
• Must be able to lift and handle heavy objects
• Must supply basic hand tools
• Strong attention to safety and plant hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
