Maintenance & Mechanic Helper - Buda, TX
AHI Supply is looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance & Mechanic Helper to support equipment maintenance, shop operations, facility upkeep, and general operational needs at our Buda location.
Our Core Focus is providing creative solutions for the construction industry through the manufacturing and distribution of quality construction products. This role plays an important part in helping keep equipment, facilities, and operations running efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who is willing to work hard, learn, and help wherever needed.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with forklift, trailer, and equipment maintenance and repairs
- Help complete preventative maintenance and inspections
- Run parts and pick up supplies as needed
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
- Assist with facility and grounds maintenance
- Support warehouse or other departments when needed
- Help maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical background or mechanical aptitude preferred
- Experience with forklifts, trailers, small engines, or equipment maintenance is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Willingness to help in multiple areas of the operation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Someone who takes pride in their work and stays productive
