Maintenance Mechanic

Founded in 1968, our company has become a niche player in the manufacturing industry as we continue to create high quality, graphite-based components for the aerospace industry. We are happy to say that we will be expanding into new facilities! With the expansion comes growth, and we are in need of a valuable member of our maintenance team to help create intricate components for our clients. This is a particularly good fit for those who have worked on CNC equipment before!

Shift: A (7am to 3:30pm)

Pay: $25-30/hour DOE.

Training:

We know that everyone is looking for maintenance mechanics right now, but unlike most companies, we are focused on continuous growth and improvement. That is why we are open to train certain portions of this job as long as you have a strong electrical background to work from. Other trainings include paid-for classes, as well as sponsored trips to our equipment manufacturers to learn best practices.

Principle Duties:

• Repair CNC Vertical and Horizontal machine centers, lathes, and various other shop equipment.
• Follow the Preventative Maintenance Program. Follow Lock Out - Tag Out
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC's
• Create reports addressing maintenance needs and completed tasks
• Collaborate with Plant Manager to improve maintenance processes

Your Abilities and Background:

• 5 years previous industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
• Ability to use sophisticated test equipment
• Mathematical aptitude with the ability to calculate proportions, percentages, etc.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office
• Thorough knowledge of GMP's
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Communicative and self-motivated
